1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in the memory of your device (computer, phone, tablet) via your browser.

Cookies contain technical information — such as session identifier, site language, interface settings — that help the site work correctly and remember your preferences on subsequent visits.

1.1. Cookie types by duration

• Session cookies — deleted automatically when the browser is closed
• Persistent cookies — stored for a defined period (from a few minutes to several years)

1.2. Cookie types by function

• Technical / strictly necessary — required for the site to work (login, session, form security)
• Functional — remember user preferences (language, layout)
• Analytics — collect statistics about traffic on the site (BW BestWork does not use them)
• Advertising / tracking — used by ad networks (BW BestWork does not use them)

2. Which cookies we use

The table below contains the full list of cookies used by the BW BestWork website. All of them are first-party technical cookies — generated by our domain, not by third parties.

Admin cookies (marked wp-settings-* and wordpress_logged_in_*) are only set after logging into the WordPress panel by BW BestWork staff. Regular website visitors do not generate these cookies.

3. Purposes of using cookies

All the cookies listed above are used solely for technical and functional purposes:

• Maintaining the user session during a visit to the site (e.g. filling in a form)
• Form security — protection against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks in the Contact Form 7 form
• Admin panel — keeping BW BestWork staff who manage site content logged in
• Correct rendering of the site — checking whether the browser supports cookies

These cookies do not collect:

• Your personal data (first name, last name, e-mail address)
• Information about your browsing habits on other websites
• Geolocation, device model or any other identifying attributes

For that reason — under Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (the ePrivacy Directive) — technical and strictly necessary cookies do not require explicit consent from the user. Their use is permitted on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. No analytics or marketing cookies

BW BestWork has consciously decided not to use any analytics or marketing tools that require placing tracking cookies on users’ devices.

Specifically, we do not use:

• Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads
• Facebook Pixel, Meta Conversions API
• Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Microsoft Clarity or any other heatmap tools
• LinkedIn Insight Tag
• Remarketing cookies from any advertising networks
• Trackers embedded in third-party scripts (e.g. live chat from external providers)

If BW BestWork decides in the future to introduce analytics tools, this will be preceded by clear notice to users, a cookie consent banner and an update to this policy.

5. How to manage cookies in your browser

You can manage cookies yourself at any time — change their settings, block particular types or delete those already stored. The exact procedure depends on the browser you use:

5.1. Private / incognito mode

Most browsers offer a private mode (“incognito”, “InPrivate”) in which cookies are deleted automatically at the end of the session. It’s a good way to browse without leaving traces on the device.

6. Consequences of disabling cookies

Disabling technical cookies may affect some elements of the BW BestWork website:

• Contact forms — disabling Contact Form 7 security cookies may prevent messages from being sent, or cause submissions to be rejected as spam
• Admin panel — BW BestWork staff who manage the site will not be able to log in
• Content display — the site will mostly still work correctly, because most functions do not require cookies

Disabling cookies does not affect browsing job offers, reading company information or any other static elements of the site.

7. Changes to this cookie policy

BW BestWork reserves the right to periodically update this cookie policy in the event of:

• Introduction of new site features requiring additional cookies
• Changes to cookie legislation (ePrivacy, GDPR)
• Rollout of analytics tools or other third-party services
